Transcript:How to Wear Your Hair Up if You Have a Round FaceHi, I am Aubrey for About.com and today I am going to show you how to wear your hair up if you have a round face.
Pull Your Hair Up Into A Bun to Compliment a Round FaceFirst, comb through your hair to remove any tangles. Brush your hair back and up creating a high pony tail. As you bring the hair up further brush the sides to remove any bumps. Take a hair clip and tie your hair up in a bun. Pull the back down, and pin it with bobby pins. Bring the sides of the bun around the front and pin them down to create a messy bun. Play with it until you get your desired look. You can make the bun big or small. Bigger buns work better with round faces. Spray with hairspray and comb the front and back for any fly aways.
Elongate a Round Face by Lifting Your Hair StyleFor the next hairstyle, you will need to part your hair down the center. Pull two small pieces of hair from the front out. Then take the rest of your hair and twist it to the back of your head. Pin the twist down with bobby pins.Lightly pull the top of your hair up creating a little lift. Take the front sections of hair and curl them away from your face. Next, push the sides of your hair up and pin it with bobby pins. This adds more lift and volume which is perfect for a round face. Break up the curls and pin a few back to the sides.
Frame a Round Face With Curly PiecesFor the last hairstyle, you will need to keep the front of your hair curled. Pull the curls to one side, creating a side part. Loosely put the rest of your hair into a ponytail. Pull your curls out and down. Play with your curls until you get them where you want them. If you have too many curls you can pin some of them back with bobby pins. You can keep your ponytail straight or you can curl the ends. Spray with hairspray to hold your curls in place.
