Hello I'm Kacie Marie, this is About.com and today I'm going to give you some tips on how to prevent acne scars.Avoid Touching and Squeezing Acne Blemishes
To prevent acne scarring, treatment for acne should be taken as soon as possible. Your skin responds to acne breakouts by flooding the area with white blood cells. This aids in the healing of the acne but it inflames the area, making it ripe for tissue damage.Squeezing a pimple worsens your condition and can leave permanent acne marks. So therefore, avoid popping a pimple at all costs. Even touching your blemishes with your fingertips or fingernails will cause more blemishes. So touching your skin is a big no-no. Direct exposure to sunlight should be avoided so always use your SPF.
Use Acne Cleansers With Vitamin E
To prevent and lessen acne scars, get a cleanser, moisturizer and cream that have Vitamin E in it. For example products that have aloe in it. If you feel you can't prevent your acne scars on your own, seek out your dermatologist and they'll give you the right treatment for you.The best way to avoid acne scars is to avoid acne. A good way to do this is to keep your skin clean and healthy, but don't over wash your skin. And stay away from greasy foods. I hope my tips have helped you avoid and cure your acne scars.
