Transcript:How to Create a Choppy BobHi I'm Jennifer Webb from Prima Salon, Portland, Oregon, for About.com and I'm here to show you how to create a choppy bob.
Supplies for Creating a Choppy BobTools you will need are:
- texturizing shears
- feather razor
- and a comb
Instructions for Creating a Choppy BobSection the hair first at the ear combing half the hair forward and half the hair back at the back of the neck. If the hair is thicker take half section and then second section lining up with the first. For the choppy layers take the hair at a 90-degree angle all the way around the head. Then take the hair again at 90 degrees and slide cut up through the layer about 5 times on each section. Take the side sections and depending upon the angle of the bob you want, blend the sides of the hair with the back. Always finish the bob dry. Blend the back of the graduation with the texturizing shears to make it smooth not showing any choppy marks. Razor the back of the neck if you need and style. To style a hair use a pomade or a paste and piece it through the hair defining the choppy layers.
