Transcript:How to Create Full-Looking Bangs
Hi, my name is Tye Coe for About.com. I am a celebrity hair, makeup and fashion stylist and today we are at the fabulous BeSu Salon and Day Spa here in New York City and I am going to show you how to create a fuller looking bang.Use a Round Brush to Create Volume in the Bang
In creating a fuller looking bang, the first thing you want to do is make sure your bangs are freshly trimmed and you do not have any split ends on your bangs. Once you do have a freshly cut bang you can begin first by round-brushing. And you want to take a medium sized round brush. Once you have rolled under with your round brush and the blow dryer, it is going to create just a little bit of bump in your bang and then what you can do is split the bang in half.Split the Bang in Half and Tease to Add Fullness
You are going to add a little hairspray to the bottom portion of the bang. With that bottom portion you are going to take a comb and back comb. You can tease it and back comb about two to three to four times just to create just a bit of a nest, so it is going to be a little messy.Once you have done that you are going to take the top part of the bang and comb over into the teased area. You will then lift just a bit with your fingers and add hairspray. That is going to help create a little more volume. Finish the style just with a bit of hairspray. And that is how you create a fuller looking bang. Thanks for watching! To learn more, visit us at About.com.
