Transcript:How to Blow Dry a BobHi my name is Tricia Mann with About.com and this is how to blow dry a bob. A bob is a great low maintenance hairstyle; if you blow-dry it correctly you can go several days and have your hair still hold its style.
Use an Ionic Hair Dryer to Blow Dry a BobThe first tool you need is an ionic hair dryer. This tool drys the hair in less time, while preventing frizz and reducing damage from heat. Start with towel dried hair and a little prep product to condition and protect against heat damage. On the back of the neck blow dry left and then right using a paddle brush to prevent the ends from curling upwards.
Give the Bob Volume by Blow Drying Roots in the Opposite DirectionBrush the top layer of hair the opposite direction or upwards to give it more volume at the roots. Last, take you paddle brush under the hair and blow dry both sides. Angle your brush downwards slightly to contour the hair towards your face. That’s how to blow dry a bob.
