Like it's distant cousins, St. Louis BBQ, Carolina BBQ and Texas BBQ Kansas City believes they're BBQ rib rubs are the best. And they may be right, I will let you be the judge by trying this rub at your next BBQ cookout.

The Ingredients you will need are:
  • 1/4 cup paprika

Instructions for Making Kansas City Rib Rub

OK, let's prepare the Kansas City Rib RubIn a bowl combine the paprika, black pepper, salt, brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder and the cayenne pepper then stir throughly. Here's a tip: Before applying the rub, pat the meat dry to eliminate moisture. Then spread the dry rub evenly on both sides and let the meat sit until the rub appears moist. Then they are ready for the grill or oven. This recipe makes about 1/2 cup, enough for a large slab of Baby back ribs and it can be stored for up to six months.
