Mechanical pain is usually referred to as "back strain" due to its association with the movement of the spine. This type of pain is a result of injuries to the spine's facet joints, discs, ligaments or muscles.Compressive Pain
Compressive pain is irritation or pressure placed upon the nerves, most likely due to ruptured, herniated or bulging discs.
