Newborn Pajamas

I’m here to tell you today about some essential clothing items for your newborn baby.One of the first things you’ll need for a newborn baby is like a pajama. It’s nice to have something everyday that really can go through the washer lots of times, -- everything should be machine washable for a baby, a new baby. And you wouldn’t want to send it out to be cleaned and you want to use a really safe detergent.

A Onesie® is something you would need year round, especially to hold a diaper on. Either of these things is really great because you’ll want to lay the baby flat in buttoned or zipped even, the baby up. And you can never have enough pajamas. These can also be outerwear for newborns. Can also get, you know, a two-piece just something to cover their legs and sometimes they cover the hands as well. You’re constantly washing these so you can never have enough Onesie® items. Seasonally, too, you might want something lighter weight. These are designed for the ease of baby changing and dressing or really heavy weight for the winter. It’s nice to have all of these items in a nice cotton -- comfortable, wearable and washable fabric.

Swaddling Blankets

Another item that you would need for a new baby would be a swaddling blanket. Newborns are used to being in the womb so you want to keep them really wound up in a blanket sort of like a little burrito.

These are really nice just sort of generic you’ll need a lot of these. They can also be used just to lay the baby down to change a diaper. Also you could get sort of a non traditional more decorative but really sort of warm swaddling blanket that’s also really fast to use. You can just put the baby right in and Velcro it in. And then, you know, put it in the crib or you know in your carrier to keep it warm and also again their arms and legs really tight to their bodies.

Newborn Slings

Another essential item that has always been used in many cultures and now it’s becoming more and more of an important trend in our society is to wear your baby. And you’ll especially want a sling for a newborn. There are lots of different slings and carriers. You’ll just want to pick one out based on your comfort and the babies comfort. Some people like an adjustable ring sling um to carry the baby at different levels, to get the baby tight to you. This is a great one for front carrying or back carrying or hip carrying you just position the baby in different ways as they grow.

Newborn Socks and Booties

These socks are really great for keeping your babies feet warm. It’s a very important thing to know that you should cover your babies skin generally. You would want to put an extra layer on your baby then you would want to wear in any season. You just, you know, get some nice little socks to wear outside or inside. There are lots of different booties on the market. Tou would want something that would stay on well if you were going out in a stroller.

Newborn Hats

Right from when the bay’s born at the hospital, they would put a hat on the baby right away. So you would always wear around the house, or you know, going outside, of course you know like a little soft cotton hat would be every day wear. You could get a really nice cotton hat for the winter or even something a little bit heavier, a thick fleece would be great.
