Tired of waiting in long airport lines to check in for flights? You can save a ton of time by checking in online a whole day in advance. Here are instructions for using U.S. Airways' online check-in feature.

First Steps to Check-In Online

Open your internet browser and navigate to the USAirways.com website. Once there, click the "Check In Online" option. You are then given three different options for checking in. You can type in the confirmation code number you received when booking the flight, the flight number or the US Airways Dividend number. You may only check in within 24 hours of your flight; otherwise the flight information is not yet saved into the US Airways computer system.

Check Baggage and Print Boarding Pass

Click on your flight, then select the check baggage option if you need to check a bag before boarding. After selecting the option, you must take the baggage to the US Airways counter upon arriving at the airport. Select the print confirmation option. This loads a window with an image of your boarding pass. This is just like the pass you receive from the US Airways desk. Click "File," "Print" in your internet browser. Select the printer you want to use to print the boarding pass, make sure the printer is on, and click "OK." This completes the online check-in feature, giving you an in-hand boarding pass and allowing you to proceed directly to security when arriving at the airport.
